i have to vote for the kenwood for this reason - the 901 equalizer puts an unusual demand on the current requirement of an amplifier. the others listed aren't in the same league in that respect. An older Luxman or bigger Technics would do the trick, but among those the 9600 is best qualified to drive the 901 specifically.
