Maybe it depends on who you get on the phone

I bought a Triplett DMM from Parts Express. After a few years, I blew one of the 0.8 mA, 600 volt fuses, and needed a replacement. I checked all the usual places like Mouser, Digi Key, etc. but they didn't have the high voltage versions. FYI, don't substitute a standard 250 volt fuse, it's not safe.

Triplett had the fuses, but only sold to dealers. Since Parts Express sold me the meter, they must be a dealer, right? I emailed, and got a reply from a guy who told me they couldn't get them. I pitched my "But you're a dealer" logic, but the answer was "No, sorry."

I used the meter with a 0.75 mA, 400 volt fuse I found, but since I have tube amps, the 400 volt rating bothered me. I emailed Parts Express again, maybe a year later, using the same "You're a dealer" logic. I got a reply from a woman (sorry I can't remember her name) who said to call her. I did, and she ordered four of the correct 600 volt fuses from Triplett for me.

Good luck with sorting it out.
