Right now, the only one who listens to music with me is my wife. We're the only ones in the house. Family doesn't care for music. But I doubt my wife would come listen in a dedicated room. The only plus would be that I may get better sound and my wife may actually get a lady's living room.
If it were just me, I'd set the speakers up for the room and the family would just have to walk around the obstacle on their way to the bathroom. Funny how women like pretty and men like function.
