HT Speaker Wireing Question

We are in the middle of a renovation and I will have a window to install in wall speaker wireing for secondary locations. HT receiver is a Marantz SR7009 with 9ch at 125wpc into an 8ohm load. I can assign amp channels to zones 2-3.

Main area will be 7.1 HT, with the remaining channels used for remote locations.

How feasible would it be to use 2 4ohm automotive speakers connected in series (for an 8ohm load) connected to 1 amp channel ? Or should I stay with 1 speaker per channel ?
