But I have a one-hour commute each way to work, and am not into talk radio. I've had high quality after-market audio equipment in my cars since 1983. With the current electronics integration issues, making after-market CD players implausible, the 160Gb Ipod Classic makes a great "music server" for the car, but I do still often listen to new CDs in the car before ripping. Having over 1800 lossless files (AIFF) in shuffle mode while driving has its own special rewards, for sure. I have Dynaudio speakers, an Arc Audio Black custom sub installation, and an Arc Audio amp and processor to make my commute a little less boring each day...But after an initial listen in the car, I DO definitely listen to the same CD on my home system.
The built-in sub was "ok" but the Black Series 10" from Arc Audio is so much better (and luckily could be added with a fiberglass enclosure)
