I have been charged as much as 14% for an eBay transaction plus Paypal. However I got so much more for the item on eBay compared to anywhere else it is worth it. The fees last month were 7.32 for two things that were about $73 dollars PLUS there were PayPal fees. Look at the invoice data and how they make it impossible to see the fees on each transaction and just send a summary

still overall I see eBay as worth it as you get much more for certain items there
