RE: microphone quality

I'm sorry, but I have a Blue yeti pro and it's just 1 problem after another. The stand it comes with is a tuning fork in on it's own and even when you put it on the expensive shock mount it still has a metallic resonating sound to it. Just no...

Logitech in one sentence. Affordable piece of crap.

If you are serious about your audio setup, you will have to invest a hefty sum.

A budget kinda thing that I would suggest to LOOK INTO.
AT2020 Microphone With XLR. And do some research on it I haven't had the chance to use it, yet.
Combine that with one of Focusrite Scarlett Mic pre. (You do need that, better way to control the gain of the mic, eliminating moar background noises and such, might need to come closer to the mic, but that is not a bad thing.)
You probably will need a stand of some sort I can swear by Rode PSA1 cheap a bit wonky, but it does the job well, even with my overweight mic.
Need a shockmount, you on your own there. Depending on the mic you get.

I know that is a hefty amount right here. But this is the best price/ performance I know of. If You are serious about Your audio this is it buddy.

I myself own a PSA1 Rode boom arm and I can guarantee it is good and it works. The rest of the stuff mentioned is hours of research and hanging around audio forums. And well a bit of my own experience. A mic on it's own won't just cut it.
