RE: Looking for Device to Boost Sound from a Home-Security Speaker

I assume you have a security control panel located somewhere in your home. Usually the panel will have a sets of contacts/terminals to power a remote siren/sounder device. Usually 12Vdc output on security alarm.

Find the control panel and look on the inside of the door for a wiring diagram layout. You should see a set of terminals that says something like 'interior sounder' and or 'outside sounder'.

If you have such terminals points you may have to buy the unit for that panel number.

Usually the interior sounders install flush in a single gang wall opening.
