In fact, depending on where one lives, being a millionaire doesn't automatically make one rich, again, not by a long shot.
People have different lifestyles & priorities no matter where they fit in on the income scale.
I know many people are obsessed with how some individuals spend their own money. I can only imagine the obsession is rooted from envy mixed in with a pathological need to claim moral superiority to those who spend differently to themselves.
I have always found it rather ironic when some folks accuse those able to afford a $100K amp as mentally deficient or stupid or mad but the accusers are usually folks who have never made $100K in their life but they somehow think they are the smart ones.
Personally, I couldn't care less what type of house, car, audio system or income anybody has. In my group of friends there are folks earning at least 7 figures down to folks on welfare. It is what folks have to say I find stimulating, not how much money they earn.
