it's all relative.

Consider that at a Barrett-Jackson auction a 1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible sold for $165,000. That is a desirable but not rare or special model. And a 1946 Ford Sportsman Woody convertible sold for $209,000. Quite a bit more rare but one with limited appeal.

Like an Ongaku, those are things I can admire. But that does not mean I would buy any of them, even for a fraction of their stated values.

As a basic law of economics, something is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. My choices are different from yours and others are different from us. As several here have suggested, so what?
