RE: First...

So we now know that there is an issue with the mono amp directly connected to the hissing speaker. Swap tubes with the other mono amp. If the hissing then switches to the other speaker (i.e. follows the tubes), there is an issue with one or more of the tubes, if there is no change after doing the tube swap and the same speaker hisses, then the problem lies with the amp. This may prove a little more difficult to diagnose so let's hope it's the tubes. Cheers.
