Well, this man's son had a brain tumor that prevented him from forming new memories except through music retrieval. The father had to learn Grateful Dead. (Lots of mid-fi turntables to endure, though, in the move).
I found the only album I listened to during my college years that I still have: ELP: Trilogy.
It sounded awful through tubes, but great on my solid state headphone amp. I'm revisiting my whole audio chain because of this movie! That Pioneer receiver and Bose 901s weren't so bad afterall.
I told my wife if I lose it, this will be the only way to connect to me and -- well, and Brain Salad Surgery.
