looks very similar to the Pioneer CT-S800 I still have. At least as far as I could tell with it so dark.
My S800 was the same as the Elite 91 except for missing the wood end panels and glossy faceplate. I gladly gave that up for the great performance at a lower price. I assume your S709 may have been the next model down.
How odd for this discussion since I've just been thinking about replacing the belts on my S800 to get it operational again.
