RE: The difference between a music lover and an audiophile:

RW,

A music lover finds joy in listening to live performances and those trying to replicate the 'live music' experience through improving the reproduction quality of recordings for day-to-day home enjoyment are audiophiles, as Sordidman has intimated. The asserted distinction between a music lover and an audiophile is thus trolling artifice.

May I recommend focusing exclusively on EMI removal until its heavy curtain of distortion evaporates? The resulting large level of sound quality improvement will then provide the positive encouragement to apply tweaks to the previously hidden flaws that then become readily apparent. Good luck!

DG
