Do you want it to get there? Bite the bullet and go FedEx.

If you are traveling, take it with you, but the airline will likely charge close to that. Trans-Atlantic shipping is very expensive. You might want to contract an LTL freight forwarder to see if they have room on an intermodal shipping container, then you can spend weeks getting through customs.

The USPS has a 70 pound limit.

Indemnity is included for uninsured parcels, but it is limited to the actual value of the contents or, based on the actual weight of the package, a maximum of $246.79, whichever is less. Indemnity is not provided for certain items. Consult the International Mail Manual or your local Post Office for detailed information.

Add insurance, customs and VAT you are probably around $300.

Box has to be less than 70n pounds and 18 x 24 X 24 or smaller.

Your responsibilities
You may have to pay VAT, Customs Duty or Excise Duty on goods sent from outside the European Union (EU) before you can collect them.

You don’t pay VAT or Customs Duty when your things are sent back to you – they must be described as ‘personal belongings’ on the customs declaration.

You must also check that the sender:

pays Excise Duty on any alcohol or tobacco sent from the EU
declares goods correctly if they’re sent from outside the EU

Your goods may be seized if you don’t follow the rules. You may also be fined or prosecuted.
