Agreed. Even the dragged through the mud LZ II can sound great...

I have the Japanese "mini-LP" of the first 5 LZ albums, and it continually amazes me that even though songs like Whole Lotta Love (and just about the whole album) are pushing the old ATR-102 tape machine to the edge, they still have an amazingly earthy tone and "real" grit of a band, not a product.

Another track to consider is Moby Dick, specifically, the drum solo. On a great system at realistic volume, Bonham is IN THE ROOM with you!
