AH! Njoe Tjoeb balance issue....

Hi all,

Interested in knowing if anyone has some information that might help me isolate a problem I'm having with my AH! Njoe Tjoeb 4000 CD player. I've had it for nearly a decade now. I used the stock opamps for a couple years, had the upsampler and then it died. Now using the stock opamps again. What I've noticed now for some reason is that the left channel is louder than the right. I confirmed this using the analop output to be monitored directly using a field recorder. The balance control of my preamp can take care of this, but I'm wondering why it is happening in the first place. I've replaced the tubes with a new matched set. The transport has also been replaced at one point. I've listened to multiple recordings to the end. Could the issue be the opamps!? Any other thoughts?

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance.
