My oldest Nephew, got a turntable from his wife for X-mass last year...I hooked it up for him this summer, (he had NO idea how to do it AND he only had a sound-bar for A speaker)...

When I got to the back of his Sony turntable, it had a USB out!!??!! Yes, talked to him about new speakers and integrated with a Phono Pre-amp...yada...yada...yada... young married couple, not allot of extra $$$...so USB cable to his sound bar...then listening to him say how much better vinyl is??!!?? I did not have the heart to tell him it was digital to his CRAPPY sound-bar...

I was at his house for a party with many of his friends ogling over his turntable...saying this sux is a gross understatement...BUT they were hypnotized by a spinning record...

I am personally OK, with "hipsters" buying vinyl...it may lead them into our hobby, where we could use a youth injection...
