Woke up at 6am after going to bed at 2 or 3am or so. my bud came by my bachelor pad and we listened to Aphex Twin's new album. I also gave him a pair of speakers I wasn't using (Audes Excellence 1 standmounts). My bud is responsible for my increased interest in music starting when I was very young as I've been good friends with him since the high school days, later he joined our college radio station and turned me on to so much stuff when he was both on and off the air.He uses a Musical Fidelity A300 and a Technics SL-1200MKII which he bought from me, he was using crappy insignia speakers and now he's got a good setup that should last a long time. I think the Audes are a nice upgrade from mass market insignia, however good they were for the price (the ones that had carbon woofers which were all the rage many years ago for around $80 at that point).
