It's only a couple of hours away and as a DC native I've been to plenty of things/concerts on the mall. The way to get their is to drive to Arlington and then ride your bike in across the Roosevelt bridge on the trail. You'll get in and out much better this way and circumvent the crowd. In the end there wasn't anyone I wanted to see. Not even one of the artists. Too pop for me.
