Yeah I realize the Logitech offers higher resolution than Sonos but I had concerns if it would drop out over the long distances which is what two chaps I know had a problem with and hence I went with Sonos.
I have not compared Logitech & Sonos side by side so I can't comment.
Specs are specs but ultimately if it sounds good to the individual then it is good for the individual.
From the ZP90 I connect to the DAC using Toslink.
I am not anal about audio specs. If I had bought Logitech, at a fraction of the price, but encountered drop-outs and stops like a couple of guys I knew did then it would have been a waste. I will never know now :)
I'm happy with Sonos as I am happy with my audio systems wich is really all that matters.
YMMV.
