I really likes Bob's Devices Cinemag. I own the previous model 3440 (Bob said that was originally designed more for microphones). Its low gain is1;16. However, Bob has recommended the Sky30 which has a low gain of 1:15 (that is more airy).
But i don't understand how that will help equalise volume in the Zyx without using the high gain.
I prefer the sound on the low gain setting. Abe stated that the loss in volume is 6.4 db with he zyx.
Is there a high quality SUT that can deliver that in a low gain setting ?
Or may be I'm imagining that there is a sound difference between using the high versus low gain ?
I'll post this subject up in the Vinyl section as Abe has suggested.
