I'm listening to a few of the tunes on Glen Woodcook's Big Band show tonight.
The past performer she most immediately reminds me of is Lisa Minnilli. Good sounding release but the Duets with kd lang, Paul McCartney, Diana Krall, et al. is the one I really like, even more than the Bennett/kd lang album.
BTW a youngster in Canada stole Tony Bennett's thunder by selling twice as many copies, 20,000 copies to Gaga/TB 10,000 ... Leonard Cohen, 80 yrs old :)
