First, to be clear, it's not the OP's story. He's just linking to it. So it's not a whine.
But also, when I read the entire post, it seemed to me that the guy isn't hiding anything. By his own admission they had the right to do what they did and he urges people to buy where they try.
You could be right of course, but it seems like a very plausible scenario to me.
