Because "the public" is persuaded to trust the words of guys like you, who post one-sided gossip on the internet, brick-n-mortar shops are having a harder time than they might otherwise have. Have the decency to post only about YOUR OWN personal experiences and/or about facts that are pretty much beyond dispute. Don't post second-hand gossip. If you have not actually been there yourself then why say much of anything - either negative or positive? Better safe than sorry!
