For whatever it's worth

"It's a vague term that basically means the reviewer enjoyed the music being played by the component. I call the term mostly BS that a reviewer uses to give a product their seal of approval without articulating exactly why. Information like that is not why I take the time to read reviews."

LOL - that's the only kind of information worthwhile in any review. The subjective opinion of performance as well as measured performance are essentially worthless drivel.

Who cares about the reviewers articulation - what this hobby is about, at least for me, is enjoying the music. As if hearing a bell or cymbal more distinctly, clearly surrounded by more air than ever before has something to do with music. It only matters if that bell, for whatever reason, contributes to greater musical enjoyment, ie. the musicality of the system.
