I just replaced a Porter Port wall plug with a Maestro. Right out of the box and installed, was a "Wow". Highs much silkier, lows less bloated (didn't seem so but in retrospect, they were)....lyrics, much easier to understand, more space, more air, quicker, ....all good and highly recommended. I only replaced one that powers the preamp and Silver Disc player.....I will now order more for the power amp and speakers (Vandersteen's have their own amps built in).
