Really?

What you say may be true in many cases.

But the truth of the matter is some systems sound "anti-musical", more so when I take my own recordings in for the demo.

When I hear reviewers comment they find themselves distracted by the attributes of the recording that means the system is not musical.

And in every case the response is the same - the recording sucks. Yet that same recording will sound fantastically musical (though flawed in some way) on other high quality audiophile systems.

To me a system that is not musical with all recordings of interest is just one that needs an excuse for sounding so bad.

Just my opinion.
