When evaluating comments about musicality I try to be completely aware of the context. A component can't be musical on it's own - how musical it is depends upon it's application, the playback environment and of course the system in which it is being used.IMO musical means sounds more like music than than an electro/mechanical reproduction of it. A musical system might be somewhat warm or somewhat harsh or somewhat forward or somewhat distant or somewhat whatever.
In a perfect world there would be an exact correlation between accuracy and musicality. Unfortunately given the diverse qualities of recordings and playback environments this is far from a perfect world.
But as we can see from the response "musicality" means many things to many people.
