A simplified definition of "Musicality" as it refers to Audio equipment would be any component
that interrupts our "Audiophile Fetishes" of listening to what our playback equipment is or is'nt doing to the "sound" of the music we're listening to, rather than sitting back & enjoying
the elements of the music being played.
Years ago , Audiophiles would gather together to play "Drop the the Needle", where they would only play musical "excerpts" to "show off" what their latest piece of electronics could
"do". I'm not sure but there may have been some unwritten "Audiophile Credo" that it was
forbidden to listen to the entire piece of music , I think "musicality" gets lost in the shuffle
among the "equipment chosen" sometimes .
