Because that should be what it's all about. Not whether your stereo sounds like live music, that's not the point. The point is this - buy tickets, get out of the house, go and see live music.
I had the unique and distinct pleasure of being able to attend an Arcade Fire concert in Winnipeg on Thursday of this week. My wife and I had a family obligation to attend to and I was able to coordinate that with their concert schedule.
Without a doubt, of all the live concerts that I have attended, that has to be right up at the very top. It was an incredible show.
They played selections from all of their albums and seemingly in random order - but it built up into a blazing crescendo of sheer musical talent and ability that has been developed and refined to the point where they live in a musical world of their own making. And, more importantly, they invite you to live there with them.
If you have the opportunity to see them on this tour, I can't imagine how you could be disappointed.
