A couple of candidates:1. Preamp "A" with power amp "A" sounds "better" than preamp "B" with power amp "B", while preamp "B" with power amp "A" sounds even "better", and preamp "A" with power amp "B" is even "better yet". Synergistic component matching is difficult to nail down.
2. Claims about sonic differences in "audiophile" interconnect cables for home hi-fi systems. More silky, or less silky? Why? Show me the data.
