Let's hope not

I find the audio industry less welcoming but much more diversified than it was in the Glory days. Yea no doubt many of the old-timers feel left out and for sure us value for the dollar audiophiles make up a much smaller segment of the market than back then.

I'm still buy plenty of new release vinyl and appreciate the ability to do lossless wav quality downloads of live performances.

Not only do I still spin vinyl I have access to all my music via my TVs, my car stereo and my boomboxes.

Sure pop/rock music radio has been the pits since the early 70s but I got over that before the end of that decade.

So in my mind we've got better gear at all price ranges and an endless supply of great new music.

I'm happy to have the old music but I wouldn't want to go back to the Glory Days no way no how...
