and it definitely has improved the joy of listening. Especially the headphone part. I gave up on headphones about the time we sold our recording studio in LA, they were heavy, sweaty and sonically not as good (for me) as even the tiny Auratone monitors or the large JBL monitors that we used above the board.
Now these phones are revealing stuff in recordings that I have listened to forever, subtle flourishes, positioning of various back up singers..one mike recording at one time and space, edits and phoned in parts, all obvious. Makes me wonder what those 5-6000 dollar phones reviewed recently could sound like.....hmmmm....er....ok ...enuff wondering!
