Hi,
i wonder if the reproduction of a square wave can really tell something about the sound quality of a speaker.
I have found the attached picture
Very impressive i think.
I understand that square waves do not exist in nature but also that it is an extremely difficult signal
And as written in the picture the test gives an evidence of the ability of a driver/speaker to react fast to the incoming signal.
For instance the fact that many crossovers deform it cannot be underestimated in my opinion
This kind of test is extremely rare in loudspeakers.
Why ?
