Elderly fans shell out stupid big bucks so they can say they saw Chuck Berry or Elton John or the Rolling Stones play. They did, but not really. The vast majority of these guys are shells of what they once were. The sad thing is that it's not just the octogenarian entertainers. Many in their forties and fifties are even worse.
It's like going to a car show and complaining that the 1932 Packard's original paint job was imperfect. Or going to a museum and complaining that the dinosaur exhibit was dusty. Complaining that some dinosaur entertainer didn't put on a perfect show is the same thing.
