Anyone with experience filing a small claim against a manufacturer?

It's been over 20 months since I sent my power conditioner back to PurePower for repair. It is apparent that they are not going to repair it, nor are they willing to ship the unit back at my own expense.

There are several others with the same issue as well. I just found that Canada has a very similar court system and you can file at the small claims court.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice to share on filing a small claim. I have all the documentation of written communication with them as well as a filing to Canada's Consumer Protection Agency.
