I have a Monster Power AVS-2000 Signature Voltage Stabilizer, just out of warranty, that has failed (or at least the alarm sounds when it is powered up). Given the considerable investment sunk into this product, not that long ago, I wondered if anyone knows if these units can be successfully repaired? I know Monster refuses to service them once they are out of warranty but wondered if anyone had experience having one of these units (or something similar from their line) repaired by an unauthorized repair service?
Any suggestions for reliable repair services in the NYC area that might tackle such a job?
