I love my system and have had it longer than any system before it. Pass X250, Pass X2.5 preamp, Revel F52's and ADS 910s. The front end is a hot rod Super Scout Master with Dynavector xx2, northstar phono preamp (i'm keeping the TT) the other equipment I'll move to my berdoom system.
I'm looking for sugetstions for the 3 pieces (amp, pre, speakers), My music is 80% clasic rock, 15% blues 5% clasical. Ilisten about 30 hrs a week. I have a well dampened room long wall set-up 18 wide x 13.5 feet deep.
My budget about 8k for speakers, 4k for amp 2.5k for preamp.
I like Slam, Pratt and tone acuracy. I'll be buying used.
I'm thinking Bryston 7bSST and Audible illusion L2 with Magnepan MG20.1
or
Recapped Krell KMA 160s with a cary SLP98 preamp and Wilson W/P 6's or Sophia 2's
Let me know your thoughts on this or other systems
