Eneloops are more readily available under some more popular brand names, like Duracell and Energizer. One of our Canadian drugstore chains regularly puts the "Duraloops" (not the actual model name, but googling it brings up useful stuff) on sale as low as 4 for $8. They last much longer in my digital camera than other NiMH cells I've tried.
I'd also advise getting a real smart charger. Timed chargers tend to cook the batteries to premature deaths. I found a Rayovac PS16B at Walmart on clearance which appears to be smart, but there are better ones.
