It's rare only because the interest amongst the general population in high-fidelity playback has become rare.............
"I never looked at it that way but I guess he has a point. I wonder how many high end systems are there in the United States? When I say high end I am talking about systems that retail for 25k and above."
Based on the "25k and above" criterion, neither of my systems qualify as "high end". Even my "expensive" system retails for just over half that.
