choices. I was obviously hoping for a different "sound" but so it goes. The basement is currently in chaos from construction but I think that is probably not as important as the aragon in determining the harsh sound. I was hoping for a better outcome, but so be it. I have never experienced an amp "breaking in" --since I have never had a new amp and was hoping that the aragon would morph into something more mellow. Norm
