... I will make some points then leave you to have the last word.
I am not doubting what you say or what happens where you live but I will make some points about my own mobile phone usage.
• If I take or make a business or private call on my mobile phone whilst outside my home it will not be in earshot of folks not involved in the conversation. Can you understand this or not?
• Yes, folks talking loudly in a queue are rude with or without a mobile phone.
• Stating it is not normal behaviour to use a mobile phone outside one’s home is complete BS.
• I have many business lunches and your hysterics about exploitation is nonsense and utter BS. I am not a white collar worker and it is extremely rare for me to lunch with one, though they often try to weasel in on the action :)
• LOL I have no idea about a commercial of a guy watching his mobile phone while on a date. (your country dear, not mine)
• I never watch TV on my phone.
• I meet my wife for lunch and dinner regularly and we talk to each other without distraction from our phones.
• Lately I have had several business meetings at a waterside park with three or four others and we talk to each other whilst all having a conference call with several others on our phones. (No doubt you will object to this as well?)
Of course you are normal.
I am happy to different from you :)
The floor is yours, have fun.
