Yep, and you see new DACs with good write ups using the 1790 series DAC chips for a lot more money. The only trick I found with the 563 is that you need to set all speakers to large. That way you get true SACD. If you don't do that it down converts to PCM. I had it for a while and enjoyed the DVD-A stuff but couldn't understand the enthusiasm for SACD until I found the right setting.
