It IS a fact that EVERYTHING affects the sound of a system (learned during 35 years in this wonderful avocation). However, 1) different DOES NOT mean better. 2) There are MANY ways to positively steer the sound of a system that cost little or nothing.
"Take care of the elephants and worry about the mice later .... IF you ever get to them." The elephants can keep you BZ for a loooooooooooong time.
