Harman Kardon AVR-630 No Display

I turned on my HK AVR-630 today and while the power button and the volume knob become illuminated in blue, the blue display was blank. I know that older receivers used bulbs, does this one use a bulb too or something more fancy, like LED? Any idea on how much this fix would cost in parts and labor? Thanks.
