I filed two claims with them over destroyed insured Christmas gifts sent to the states. My institute has filed quite a few claims. Our batting averages are the same 0/2=0/9=000.00. Neither of us use UPS any more.

I rely on advanced technology packing (See my post below on form-fitting foam jigs). I just purchased a second box for one piece of equipment from BC. I think the cost was around $150 for a preamp + power supply box. Not cheap, but well worth it. There are usually foam companies in large cities that specialize in making the foam jigs that fit inside the box, if you bring the product in.
