All those who like Pink Floyd's music recorded like they never heard before, should get the CD "Amused to Death" by Roger Waters. This copy I have is by a company called "The Vinyl Classics". It is a black disc, not silver, is marked Spiegel Edtion, and in big letters says Made In Germany. I have never heard anything like this in my life. It starts with a dog barking that sounds like it is a couple of blocks away to the front right, WAY beyond the speakers. There is a section when a woman is singing on the couch next to you...I had to turn my head left...it sounded so real. Sometimes the perspective is HUGE..sometimes very small. Voices come at you from left, right (not front left and right, but shoulder left and right). Sometimes you are floating above the singer, sometimes within a huge crowd all around. You hear music/sounds coming from right behind, above, below, etc. There is a section that reminds me of Star Wars, when you get to warp speed...this explosion takes you on that trip but aurally. In spite of all this processing, the words are sometimes lost, but it is a must for your collection.
