You could go to your local Home Depot & PU some free arborite counter top samples - you know, those little 1"x2"(approx.) They come in dozens of finishes, probably some a close match to your floor. I was using some black ones on a Ikea Lack table to protect the finish from my 72 lb. amp. They blended in perfectly.
