I don't believe a better stereo sounds worse than crummy one.
There are reasons why a recording might become less desirable as the system improves but "bad sound" (relative to the lesser system) shouldn't be one of them.
"But a bit out of your place to declare it is bad music unless there is some reason to think you know so much more than the rest of us."
There's good music and there's bad music, just like there are good systems and there are bad systems. And it's exactly my place to submit my opinion on both.
But in this case I'm only trying to explain why someone might prefer a recording on a car stereo or boombox to the same recording on a hifi stereo.
My position is that bad sound is common place on boomboxes and car stereos but shouldn't be an issue* with a good hifi system (if it is then there is a problem with the system).
*relative to boom boxes and car stereos.
